Sports Awards

Please note that nominees must reside in Farnham and/or be part of a school, organisation or sporting club that is based in the town’s district to be eligible
Achievements must be between the dates of January to December [except for the Service to Sport category]. Entries are open each year from 1^st December and the deadline for entries is midnight on 15^th January
When completing the application, the nominee[s] should try to meet as many of the listed ‘specific criteria’ as possible because all nominations will be judged against this
As part of the sports council’s commitment to working in partnership with others, there will be two discretionary awards made each year for outstanding achievement – the Mayor of Waverley Award and the Mayor of Farnham Award
Farnham Sports Council welcomes nominations from all parts of the Farnham sporting family and let us know if you have any queries – but please nominate!

Outline in anywhere between 100-300 words how you think the nominee meets the requirements against the listed criteria. It’s the quality of the nomination [not necessarily the word count] that matters. If you want to include a relevant photo [it’s not essential] that’s fine. Good luck!
